On Friday 27 May the British Arab Federation of the West Midlands officially launched itself as an organisation by hosting an evening dinner.
The event, held in the Banqueting Suite at Birmingham Council House (Victoria Square), drew more than 250 people which among them included twelve members of the Council of Arab Ambassadors, Members of Parliament and Council Members from the City of Birmingham.
Speakers included Fadel Takrouri (Chairman of the British Arab Federation of the West Midlands), Cllr Alan Rudge (Cabinet Member for Equalities and Human Resources), Chris Khamis (British Arab Federation committee member) and His Excellency Ambassador Mr Hatem Seif El Nasr of Egypt.
